Photo Sensors

Photo Sensors

With all electrically operated gates a level of safety is required. An essential option is a safety beam. They create a zone, when the vehicle is within the area of travel the gates will not close until the obstruction is clear. The sensors can be mounted on posts, which are galvanised and primed in a colour to suit yourself.

Access Equipment

Audible Intercom

Audible Intercom Grill Audible Intercom Phone

This two-way speech intercom allows you to speak to your visitors before allowing them entrance through the gateway. Visitors press a button on the externally mounted speech grill. The indoor phone allows the gate to be automatically opened by the pressing a button. A useful feature is the leave open switch, ideal for when you are expecting a number of guests. Additional internal phones can be installed throughout the house.

Telecom Intercom

Telecom Intercom

On occasions it is impossible or impractical to install new hard wired audible intercom systems. Your standard telephone acts as the internal intercom and the gate control. If you have a D.M.T.F mobile phone, calls can be transferred when you are away from your premises. Pressing a series of numbers, your telephone enables the gate to open automatically.

Key-switch

Key-switch

For many years this has been the traditional method for opening gates. Only the key holders can gain access. The keys are an orthodox cylinder type so a professional locksmith can cut extras when required.

Automatic opener

Automatic opener

The simplest yet most effective form of switching at a gateway is by means of a push button. A time switch can be installed to accommodate regular deliveries.

Digital Keypad

Digital Keypad

Simply pressing a pre programmed set of numbers will open the gates. These can be two to six digit combinations. Ideal if you do not wish to carry keys in case of losing them. Manufactured from stainless steel the tamper proof casing can be wall mounted or in its own stand alone post for easy reach from a vehicle.

Remote Control

Remote Control

The main advantage of operating the gates through remote control is you do not have to leave the comfort of your vehicle. When a tuned aerial is fitted a maximum operating distance of 50 metres can be achieved.
